Reliance Offshore is a Transport Canada Seafarer Recruitment and Placement Service (SRPS) License holder. We are currently recruiting personnel for marine projects in Canada.
Reliance Offshore is currently seeking a full-time permanent Marine Recruiter. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a strong multi-tasking capabilities and passion for recruiting the best qualified personnel.
This position will be based in Newfoundland & Labrador and offers the ability to work remotely. This role focuses on placement of short-term personnel so you must have capacity for high volume recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Recruitment of marine and/or offshore personnel - Post job vacancies, review applicant resumes, pre-screen candidates, conduct interviews and reference checks, verify safety/training certificates and assess candidate competencies
- Onboarding of crew - contracts signing, orientations, facilitating training and documentation within the recruitment and training management system
Qualifications:
- 1-3 yrs. experience as Recruiter; ideally in placement agency capacity
- Experience in the marine and/or oil & gas sector an asset
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or Office Administration
- Excellent communication & organization skills
