Atlantic Cannabis - Floating Budtenders for Metro Locations
With 5 locations across the metro area-Torbay (Torbay Road), St. John's (Water St, Topsail Rd, Galway), and Goulds (Bidgood's Plaza) - we have a unique opportunity for those looking for occasional work.
Is your schedule hectic and ever-changing? Do you have issues committing to a particular number of hours per week? Maybe you're retired and just want to add a little something extra to your life? Or perhaps you've been out of the work force for a while and thinking about re-entering? If these scenarios sound like you, this could be the perfect opportunity.
As a Floating Budtender, you'll be requested to occasionally fill shifts at any of our 5 metro locations. There's no set schedule you have to commit to, just answer the call and let us know if the shift we have available suits your schedule.
Don't worry if you're not a cannabis expert! We've got you covered with all the training and support you need. All we ask is for your passion and a commitment to delivering stellar customer service. We'll help you grow into the role and thrive!
The Role
As a Budtender you're the heartbeat of Atlantic Cannabis, front and center where all the excitement happens. You won't just be another employee-you'll be a brand ambassador, connecting customers with our top-notch products and delivering an unforgettable experience every single time.
Customer Experience
- Greet Customers upon entry and build meaningful relationships with our local community
- Display high cannabis product knowledge to understand customers needs and wants
- Educate customers about the diverse range of product accessories available in store
- Participate in staff education, merchandising and promotional activities
Regulatory Adherence
- Follow ACL, Health Canada and NLC's regulatory guidelines
- Comply with ACL's policies, standard operating procedures, and practices
- Adhere to all Covid Health Protocols as directed by Province/ACL
Day to Day Operations
- Operate and maintain accurate point of sales register
- Keep store clean and presentable
- Monitor inventory and cash closely
- Provide insight on how we can improve operations, product mix and improve overall customer experience
Qualifications
- At least 1 year in retail/customer service environment - Cannabis retail experience an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Be open to coaching and eager to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Punctual and have reliable transportation
- Must be 19 or older
- Criminal Record Check required
