You'll be at the heart of our efforts to strengthen and expand our reach within the SMB market. Your primary focus will be to manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring they receive the best experience while identifying opportunities for growth. As part of our go-to-market team you'll work alongside marketing, product, and customer success to deliver outstanding value.

In this role, you will:

  • Position the value of CareerBeacon to small businesses.
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer's journey to help them learn how CareerBeacon can support their hiring needs.
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of SMB customers, nurturing relationships, while ensuring customer happiness and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.
  • Manage a pipeline of self-sourced and inbound leads to identify, engage, and uncover opportunities for potential buyers.
  • Work closely with our go-to-market team to develop strategies and initiatives that drive new business.
  • Represent CareerBeacon at industry events to help enhance our brand presence.
  • Contribute your ideas to advance our company's values, unique culture, and vision for the future.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has 1 or more years of sales or account management experience with a consistent track record of target attainment;
  • Is a consultative seller and can easily uncover customer pain points while tracking them back to the product value;
  • Enjoys building strong, lasting connections with your customers and peers;
  • Takes ownership over everything you do and understands the cadence of activities needed to be successful;
  • Is curious and coachable and has the ability to receive and implement feedback to grow professionally;
  • Is a team player who embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
