Project Manager

Port Hawkesbury Paper is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. As a Project Manager at PHP, you will report to the Engineering and Asset Manager and be responsible to support or lead the development of new project/work scopes, maintain project control through budget/schedule tracking, analysis, forecasting and reporting. The Project Manager will have ownership of projects from initiation to close-out including coordination of project implementation with all stakeholders, effective management of engineering consultants, third party contractors and fabricators, and reporting project outcomes.

Requirements:

Candidates must be capable of performing safely in a highly technical and flexible work environment. The ideal candidate for this position is a team player who is proficient with estimating, scheduling and project controls.

Experience/Education:

• Bachelor of Engineering or significant experience in project/construction management on industrial sites.
• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Knowledge of contract law as it pertains to executing projects on an industrial site.
• Experienced in interfacing with contractors - tracking site safety and productivity
• Proficient in project budget development and tracking.
