Our Halifax office is currently seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our Business Law and Real Property practice groups.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drafting, negotiating and closing commercial agreements of purchase and sale
- Overseeing and reporting on real property due diligence matters
- Handling of commercial financing transactions for lenders and borrowers
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial leases, offers and amending agreements
- Handling land assembly, option, easement, leasing, permitting and project finance matters for large scale real estate developments, renewable energy projects and other natural resource matters
THE IDEAL CANIDATE
- Three + years of relevant work experience;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong research and writing skills and demonstrated ability to navigate complex real estate issues;
- Self-motivated and can work independently but also values working collaboratively;
- Proven effective client and practice management skills, and
- Demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset is an asset.
