Our Saint John, NB, location is seeking a Rigging Inspection Technician
As a Rigging Inspection Technician your key responsibilities will be:
- Assist all departments within Hydraulics, Rigging, and Rubber
- Conduct thorough inspections of rigging, lifting, and fall protection equipment, specifically within industrial environments
- Assisting with rigging inspections
- Fabricating wire rope & chain sling assemblies
- Testing of hoist, slings and bridles
- Able to travel and work both indoors and outdoors
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- Possesses trade or service experience in industrial settings
- Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Maintains a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and highly motivated
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Outlook, data entry, etc
- Capable of embracing role changes and tackling new challenges
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
