The Role

Reporting to the Mechanical Foreperson, the Mechanic (Heavy Duty Equipment) diagnoses and safely repairs, services, overhauls, reconditions, cleans and tests cars, trucks and equipment in a municipal operation.

The Ideal Candidate

Considerable experience in servicing and repairing a variety of heavy equipment used within a municipal or similar environment; supplemented by graduation from a recognized post-secondary institution and journeyperson status in heavy duty equipment technician.
