Job Description:
- Drop off and Pick up Equipment for Site
- Responsible for Daily Report
- Deliver interdependent Male Patients to Hospital Room
- Provide excellent Customer Service to package recipients
- Proactive & reactive security patrols
- Response to incidents
- Report writing
- Investigate routine incidents
- Patient and visitor screening and contraband control
- Control of Forensic Monitoring Station
- Additional Duties as Assigned
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
- Valid Drivers License (G) for Ontario
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
- A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
- How To
- Immunization Record Form
- Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.
- Able to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
- 6+ months Customer Service experience is mandatory
- 1+ year security experience is mandatory
- Experience in healthcare, healthcare security, etc. is considered an asset
- Must be able to provide certifications in Stay Safe
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's Stay Safe training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
- Please be aware: The Stay Safe training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
