Position: Mobile Guard
City: Windsor, Ontario
Status: Part-Time
Hours: Saturday and Sunday (0700-1900)
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for
  • Responding to alarms and service calls
  • Conducting property inspections
  • Guard supervision
  • Assisting with scheduling
  • Client liaison
  • Vehicle maintenance
This position entails professionalism, communication, time management, critical thinking, analytical skills, proper procedure, and documentation.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Police Foundations, Protection Security & Investigations, Border Services, or Criminology required. - Must possess a valid G Class license with a minimum driving experience of 3 years. - Must provide drivers abstract. No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years. - Previous security experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability, tact and diplomacy -High School Diploma/GED -First Aid, CPR Level C

-Valid Ontario Security License

At the time of the interview applicant must be able to produce proof of completion of the following prerequisites:
  1. A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  2. Proficient in English (both oral and written)
  3. Vulnerable Sector Check
  4. G License
  5. Clean Driving Abstract
Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement:
  1. First Aid & CPR – Level C
  2. Management of Aggressive Behavior
  3. Use of Force
  4. Report Writing
  5. Additional courses as assigned
