Air Borealis is currently seeking Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team of committed professionals in the following Labrador locations.

North Coast Locations:

Hopedale, NL Makkovik, NL Nain, NL Natuashish , NL

Postville, NL Rigolet, NL

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To load/unload all Air Borealis/Charter flights in accordance with the loading/unloading instructions.
  • Ability to travel for training as required.
  • Ensure appropriate equipment is available to facilitate the offloading and loading of passengers and cargo.
  • Ensure compliance with charter clients rules and regulations.
  • Maintain information and documents as required.
  • Comply with the relevant Health and Safety policies.
  • Communicate with customers to determine needs.
  • Process cargo for shipping and perform pick-up and delivery of cargo as required.
  • Complete the daily inspection of all equipment and inform Supervisor of any repairs and/or replacements.
  • Assist customers through all phases of their booking, flight check-in and aircraft boarding and deplaning processes in accordance with our Customer Service policies, company procedures and safety and regulatory processes.
  • Use the Amelia systems and Logipal to quickly and efficiently check in passengers for their flight.
  • Responsible for the safe movement of our passengers to and from our aircraft and to provide any extra assistance when required.
  • Book, change, and confirm reservations including taking payments.
  • Accept and process cargo for arriving and departing flights, and ensuring waybills are created to reflect cargo movement.
  • Responsible use of the radio to properly receive and place calls to approaching aircrafts.
  • Administrative duties including report generation and printing, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate and complete paperwork.
  • Send daily weather reports.
  • All other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional Customer Service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and make quick sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of computer and office skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to obtain a clear Record of Conduct.
  • Ability to lift upwards to 50lbs.
