Your Contribution
As an Environmental Engineer/Professional, you will work in collaboration with the Environmental Team.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Provide consulting services in the capacity of a Senior Environmental Engineer / Environmental Science Professional in conjunction with Phased Environmental Site Assessments including risk assessment and remediation;
- Apply in-depth knowledge of environmental engineering or science to the completion of complex and difficult projects under your responsibility;
- Prepare and review technical deliverables, including Records of Site Condition (RSCs) and reports in accordance with O. Reg. 406/19: On-Site and Excess Soil Management;
- Prepare proposals and develop and manage project budgets;
- Mentor and direct other environmental professionals and technicians;
- Work with other project managers to ensure that projects are set up and executed in full compliance with quality standards and regulations;
- Identify, pursue and b uild/s upport client relationships, working in conjunction with senior leadership team;
- Consult on matters of design, processes, and engineering techniques related to growth opportunities, business development and planning;
- Provide effective technical leadership, direction and support for members of the team; and
- Serve as a senior consultant for Environmental projects, designs and deliverables.
Your Profile
- University Degree in Engineering, Applied Science or Geology, or other environment-related field;
- Minimum of 8 years of experience ideally in the field of environmental consulting;
- Qualified Person (QP), as defined in O. Reg. 153/04 is considered a strong asset;
- Experience in managing a portfolio of projects;
- Demonstrated success with Business Development;
- Experience working on Federal client assignments is considered an asset;
- Strong communication skills, written and spoken; and
- Willingness and ability to travel.
