Position Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Project Implementation, the Senior Project Manager provides the necessary leadership to bid, plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control assigned projects. Along with the LMMW Engineering and Client Services teams, you will be given control of your project to deliver it on time and budget, while keeping your client engaged and informed throughout.

Position Responsibilities

Here's what your day-to-day looks like:

  • Project leadership - cradle to grave project management model where you will be leading the front-end scoping, cost estimating, contract delivery; overseeing implementation; project commissioning and closeout and handover to our Client Facility Services Team.
  • Striving to achieve operational excellence through continuous improvement and staying disciplined in following robust project management process.
  • Focus on customer experience and preserve client satisfaction through frequent and strong client communications.
  • Focus on safety and quality.
  • Financial performance – strong financial controls; timeliness of collection of progress billings, final payment, and holdbacks, subcontractor management, etc.
  • Team mentoring and coaching through strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate has the following:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience, ideally in construction, energy retrofit, mechanical HVAC, or related industries.
  • Post-secondary education in an engineering, technology, construction-related field, or energy efficiency considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge in estimating, scheduling, subcontract coordination, and material procurement.
  • Great organizational skills and ability to manage and oversee several projects concurrently.
  • Ability to travel within Atlantic Provinces.
