Job Title: Order Picker/Reach Forklift Operator (3 Month Contract in the Fall)
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Shifts: Daytime, Monday to Friday
Location: Ottawa East

We are hiring a temporary Order Pickers on behalf of one of Canada's Largest Tire Distributors located in the East End of Ottawa. The order picker is responsible for moving tires (light vehicles) around the warehouse, either manually or with a warehouse forklift, and loading/unloading delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Removal or installing racking for storing tires.
• Order Picking orders for deliveries.
• Put away received inventory of tires and tires on rims onto racking.
• Loading/unloading delivery trucks.
• Moving of products with warehouse forklift.
• Operation of specialized equipment.
• Use WMS Inventory Software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience with Raymond Reach, Counterbalance, cherry picker, pallet jacks or Narrow aisle Forklifts. Minimum 2 years.
• Must have a valid forklift Certificate.
• Ability to perform physical work and lift loads from 25 to 70 lbs.
• CSA approved steel-toed safety boots are required for Safety Reasons.
• Criminal record check may be required as part of the onboarding process.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team, and with little to no supervision.
