We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to work on the Moosehead Breweries Ready-to-Drink portfolio of products nationally. This role will be based in our Saint John office or under our remote work environment and will report to the Finance Manager.

This role will be responsible for applying a data driven approach to evaluate our efforts and identify the opportunities of volume and revenue growth across the Canadian market.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate program and campaign effectiveness and recommend to cross functional teams what to maintain, improve or replace
  • Provide analysis & recommendations on national pricing and LTO strategies
  • Uncover insights and opportunities that will accelerate growth
  • Budget reconciliation, management and reporting
  • Assist marketing team with business performance reports
  • Provide analytical support for product focused recommendations and promotional plans nationally.
  • Assist the Finance Manager in championing the departments agenda to support the company with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Develop and present presentations as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our brand partners to meet Canadian business objectives
Qualifications

Skills

  • Strong time management and organization skills; ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate with various departments and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a Continuous Improvement environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to lead projects and tasks to closure with minimal supervision
  • Must be resourceful and can seek out solutions, have a strong bias for action, and be results oriented.
  • Exceptional business acumen and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems for results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • University undergraduate degree or college certificate, business concentration
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in analytical role
  • Experience in Canadian Beverage Alcohol industry or in Consumer-Packaged Goods considered a strong asset
