Job Title: Skilled Metal Fabricator

Rate of Pay: $25-30/hour depending on experience

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:45pm & Friday, 7:30am-3:45pm

Location: Burlington, Ontario - Walkers Line and Mainway

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Duties of the role will include:

• Create Custom Fabrications from drawings
• Plan/fit parts to meet required configurations and positions for welding
• Highly experienced with MIG and TIG Welding, on Steel, Stainless, and Aluminum
• Use of hand and power tools, and other machining equipment
• Use of forklifts and overhead cranes
• Use of various finishing techniques as required for specific jobs
• Complete quality inspections
• Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess:

• 5+ years of experience required in similar fabricating role
• 5+ years of MIG and TIG welding experience required
• Be mechanically inclined
• Experience in reading, interpreting and understanding shop drawings
• Ability to produce high quality work
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proven time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Works well with others, providing assistance to peers when needed
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
