Job Title: Shipper/Receiver

Shift Time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Location: Burlington, Ontario - Mainway and Corporate Drive

Our client in Burlington is looking for a reliable and experienced Shipper/Receiver to assist their facility. This company manufactures fire and combustion safety products. Successful candidates will have long-term experience in a similar shipping and receiving role using warehouse management software, a counterbalance forklift license and long-term operating experience, and a positive attitude.

Job Duties:

· Accurately receive and perform quality checks on incoming materials and products

· Report discrepancies to Purchasing department

· Label and put away stock

· Properly package and label items for shipment

· Complete online waybills for shipment pickups and other necessary documentation

· Keep work area clean

· Assist in other areas of the facility as necessary when not needed in Shipping Department

· Operate saw and other tools or machinery

· Other general warehouse tasks

Candidate Requirements:

· 2 years of experience in a similar shipping and receiving role

· Long term experience using an RF scanner and warehouse management software

· Reliable and demonstrates a positive attitude

· Flexible; willing to take on a variety of tasks outside of Shipping/Receiving

· Comfortable lifting 20-50lbs
