Job Title: Front End Loader

Shifts: Rotating Day and Night Shifts (6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am)

Rate of Pay: $25.00/hour

Location: Hamilton, Ontario - Eastport Drive & Woodward Ave

Our client in Hamilton is hiring seaonal Terminal Operators for their fertilizer distribution site for their peak-seasons. Successful candidates must be available to work both outdoors in all weather conditions and be flexible for day or night shift and over-time. Candidates must have a valid G-Class Driver's License and Working at Heights Certification.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Safely operate heavy equipment - loader with high tip bucket, skid steer, etc.
• Load and unload liquid fertilizer trucks using overhead pipe and gangway
• Work in both dry and wet facilities
• Perform light repairs on various equipment
• Work at heights when necessary
• Basic operation of scale systems
• Other general labour tasks around site including yard maintenance

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment: Loader with bucket, skidsteer, forklift
• Must have valid G-Class License
• Must be comfortable lifting 50lbs
• Must have Working at Heights Certification
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and independently
• Must have basic computer skills to operate scale system
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
