As a Specialist Capabilities - Supply Chain, you will lead or participate in a cross-functional team of resources in support of the Retail Support Centres (RSC). You will also partner with RSC Operations, Continuous Improvement, Training and Transportation to plan, organize, and implement quality improvement and cost reduction projects.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

  • Establish relationship with front line RSC management to create a continuous improvement culture
  • Foster critical thinking amongst internal and external teammates, helping deliver innovation through Small i and Large I projects
  • Analyze / Observe operational KPI and processes to identify opportunities
  • Provide Project Management leadership, stewardship and administration for initiatives
  • Help RSCs deliver on or better than target for operating budget
  • Lead end-to-end development and delivery of high-quality business solutions, on schedule and on budget
  • Analyze and simulate data including process mapping, developing tools, and benchmark/ best practices research
  • Communicate effectively to all levels of the business organizations
  • Understand and conceptualize cross-functional business processes, and effectively apply process analysis techniques and tools
  • Manage all logistics systems (Kronos/C3/EXE/Vocollect/WMS/SLIDE)
  • Provide Change Management support on change requests or upgrades
  • Validate regional or national change requests Assist in the construction and maintenance of Engineered Labour Standards
  • Understand the concepts of Engineered labour Standards and the tools within the systems to help in performance monitoring
  • Support Business Continuity and Contingency plans at our RSC Network as required
  • Support order management centre of excellence and improve overall customer service
  • Collaborate with other backstage teams to support projects where required

What you have to offer:

  • Strong ability to communicate (oral and written) (Bilingual French and English advantageous)
  • Strong ability to analyze, organize, and problem solve while being detail oriented
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization with minimum supervision
  • Ability to manage and implement change in a team-based culture with a union and non-unionized workforce
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of internal business partners
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Logistics / Industrial Engineering positions within a distribution or transportation environment
  • Strong understanding & proficiency in SAP system.
