Job Title: Recruiter
Location: Saint John, NB
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 an hour

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit: Post job ads, review resumes, screen candidates, and check references.
• Verify safety and training certifications and assess candidate skills.
• Coordinate crew onboarding: manage contract signings, orientations, and training records in our recruitment and training system.
• Apply best practices in HR recruiting.
• Produce detailed recruiting reports for team review.
• Build strong candidate relationships as the main contact throughout the selection process.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 1-3 years of recruiting experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or Office Administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Work Conditions:
The Recruiter will thrive in our friendly, business casual office setting, collaborating closely with the Human Resources department. They will conduct interviews both via video and in person and maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers.
