Nurse Practitioner - Family/All Ages

This position will operate out of the Humber Valley White Bay hub site, the incumbent will be providing primary care clinical coverage. The Nurse Practitioner is part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for Primary Health Care services based on the needs of the population in the assigned health neighborhood. This can include the provision services in a variety of settings and methods including in-person visits, virtual care, and visits in patients' homes including within personal care homes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and current Nurse Practitioner License are required. The incumbent must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential. Experience working independently with limited supervision and a willingness to travel are also required. Mileage and appropriate per diems will be paid in accordance with the RNUNL Collective agreement.
In the event no suitable candidate is found with the above noted qualifications, consideration may be given to applicants who do not currently possess a Nurse Practitioner License, but are qualified to enroll in an approved Master in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner (MN/NP) program. In this case, the successful applicant must be prepared to demonstrate proof of registration/enrollment upon appointment and provide updates based on the progress of each semester of the program.

Hours of Work: 75 Hours per pay period
A variety of shifts including but not limited to:
0800-1600, 0830-1630, 1100-1900, 1200-2000 and 0800-2000 Hours; Monday-Sunday as required (Flexibility required)
Salary Scale: $98,046.07 to $121,684.00 per Annum
