Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.

Moosehead has an immediate requirement for a self-motivated, dynamic and skilled salesperson to fill the following position: Territory Manager based in the Greater Windsor Area.

The Territory Manager is accountable for delivering annual sales plan within assigned territory, managing the relationships of licensee accounts as well as developing new business opportunities in the surrounding area.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for delivering territory sales, margin and expense plan for assigned territory including, but not limited to, call planning, account planning, evaluation of promotions and competitive intelligence gathering.
  • Leverage data, fact-based selling and insights to increase product listings and presence in accounts
  • Secure incremental distribution and inventory from retailers and On-Premise operators in assigned territory
  • Act as local champion to educate both consumers and customers on brands, products and promotions.
  • Build, maintain and cultivate strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Opening new points of licensee distribution and support for Moosehead brands
  • Merchandise accounts to increase visibility of brands.
  • Execute with excellence, on-site, to maximize brand experience.
  • Administrative duties (program feedback, action plans, and presentations)
  • Learn and understand the Moosehead Way to Sell as part of onboarding process.
  • Perform other duties, as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience required
  • Post- secondary education
  • Previous beverage alcohol (or package goods) sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Has a sense of urgency to achieve results.
  • Holds a high conduct of professional maturity.
  • Driven, self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Team player
  • Dedicated and passionate
  • Given nature of the role and our business, some evening and weekend work hours may be required.
  • Valid driver's license (drivers abstract will be required)
  • Must be competent in the use of productivity software; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
