The Team


Commodities, FX Options & Derivatives Technology US is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for projects that involve working with a team in developing and enhancing regulatory initiatives and other initiatives relevant to the existing commodity trading system. The product is fully in production also requires several enhancements – the Business Analyst will be working on BA activities for that product with a strong focus on the regulatory reporting for commodities.
The Role

  • Work with Regulatory and Compliance teams on gathering requirements and coordinating regulatory BAU issues
  • Work with Commodities Front Office Sales and Trading as well as other groups (Middle and Back Office) on documenting requirements and gap analysis for commodities products
  • Work with other technology teams as an SME to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented
  • Work on test plans and UAT coordination

Qualifications

  • BA within Capital Markets – 5+ years of experience
  • Significant experience and knowledge of Commodity markets in the US/Canada including Agriculture, Oil and Natural Gas – 3+ years of hands on experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the regulatory space in Commodities, including DFA (Dodd Frank), Canadian and MiFID II – 3+ years of hands on experience
  • Strong working experience with Commodities Trading systems – 3+ years of hands-on experience
  • Knowledge of commodity instruments and their lifecycle (Swaps, Futures, Options) – 3+ years of hand on experience
  • Technical skills such as SQL (writing SQL queries & extract from a database) and Microsoft office products, JIRA – 3+ year of hands on experience
