The Autism Learning Partnership (ALP) is a branch of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. The ALP team is responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of various training initiatives such as content development, review, coordination, and facilitation of online training. It also bears the responsibility of providing support related to the accompaniment of learners with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), and complex behavioral needs. ALP also supports students receiving visual and auditory services (francophone education sector) and participates in the creation, implementation, and quality assurance of preschool autism program guidelines.

What you will do:
You will report to the Director of the Autism Learning Partnership and be responsible for ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the Preschool Autism Program.

The major responsibilities of the position are:

  • Developing and revising service level agreements, program policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Responding to questions and concerns from service providers.
  • Providing support in the interpretation of program policies, procedures, guidelines and standards as it relates to the delivery of the program.
  • Monitoring operations compliance with provincial program guidelines, procedures, policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Analyzing data.
  • Creating financial and data reports.

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Need to have:

  • University degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience, two (2) of which should be in the early childhood field.
  • Demonstrated effective relationship management with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability. Level 3+ (advanced plus) is required for the position. This level is characterized by the ability to speak the language with sufficient ease to participate in formal and informal exchanges in a variety of contexts.
Nice to have:

  • Experience with service level agreement writing and finances.
  • Knowledge of the Preschool Autism Program.

Wage:
Pay Band 5: $63,700 - $88, 972 annually.

Work environment:

  • Office location: 250 King Street, Fredericton or Telework in New Brunswick.
  • Your Team: Autism Learning Partnership (ALP) is made up of psychologists, teachers, behavioural analysts and members providing support services such as programming, online registration, technical assistance, administration and management of the online learning platform. The team consists of approximately 20 professionals.
  • Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30.
