Overview

StFX is a top ranking Canadian university and we are seeking a Financial Records Clerk to be a part of the Advancement Department. This opening is for a permanent, full time position. Reporting to the Manager, Advancement Records, the Financial Records Clerk will receive and process all charitable funds received for StFX University.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process and manage pledges and gifts for annual giving and received through imodules (web)
  • Process cheque deposits received through mail
  • Process and manage pre authorized payments through Scotia Connect and through monthly credit card donations
  • Reconcile and report on annual giving
  • Work closely with the Finance Department on campus

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and quality control
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows XP and MS Office Suite; proficiency in Outlook and Internet Explorer
  • Successful completion of at least one (1) year of post-secondary education would be an asset and a minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar environment is required.
