Department: Finance and Treasury Board (FTB), GNB
Placement Description: This position would be situated within FTB's Project & Advisory Services (PAS) team. The PAS team acts as an internal consulting firm within the provincial government, providing trusted advice to senior leaders across all GNB departments ¿ both political and administrative. The Student Advisor would report to the Director of Innovation and Design, who would provide coaching and mentorship throughout the placement.
The Student Advisor will learn about the priorities of a variety of GNB departments and about organizational work culture objectives through One Team One GNB (OTOGNB). They will be responsible for writing copy for OTOGNB and PAS projects, designing and compiling infographics, and helping with visual formatting of reports. The Student Advisor will also participate in project planning meetings, conduct research, prepare clear and concise summaries, and help update OTOGNB intranet page.
Qualifications:

• Language requirement: English or Bilingual
• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program
• Infographics, reports with visual elements, website copywriting, storytelling

Skills/Highlights: The following skills would help to enable success in the Student Advisor role: strong writing and editing skills (social media/web copywriting an asset), resourceful and creative, organized, detail oriented, and experience using SharePoint (alternative website building software), Publisher, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
