Internship Placement for Fall 2024 Term

Department: Regional Development Corporation (RDC), GNB
Placement Description: This person will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to define improvement initiatives that align with strategic goals. Utilizing existing analysis, they will document business processes and, in some cases, support the identification of opportunities for improvement. Additionally, they will develop and implement visual controls and standard work procedures, while supporting the business in developing and documenting key performance indicators and monitoring their effectiveness. The intern will have the opportunity to shadow and interview project managers, and other professionals to gather insights, craft content, and experience different roles at GNB.
Qualifications:
- Language requirement: English
- Post-secondary diploma in progress, preferably in Business Administration
- Previous training in Lean Six Sigma and project management experience is considered an asset
Skills/Highlights:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a demanding environment
- Excellent communication, note-taking and documentation skills
- Ability to analyze problems and make recommendations for improvements
