This role, based at our facility in Hackett's Cove, has a focus on shipping our products internationally, as well as receiving items. The role requires someone who is willing and able to work under pressure, prioritize effectively and communicate in a calm manner, able to navigate obstacles as well as conflicting priorities when they arise.

Responsibilities of the role include:

Shipping of defined set of Nautel products;

Backup shipper for all other Nautel products and intercompany shipments;

Use of internal programs such as SYSPRO (ERP), Unipoint (Quality) as well as shipping platforms such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc:

Receive product into the Nautel facility, in accordance with our operating procedures, and distribute as necessary;

Complete all documentation related to receiving product;

Schedule courier pick ups and deliveries.

Unloading and loading freight with a forklift.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

Proven attention to detail;

Continuous learning and continuous improvement mindset;

Ability to operate across multiple systems/IT platforms;

Ability to investigate and understand complexities of international shipping;

Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders;

The ability to work within a team as well as ability to work independently;

The ability to communicate effectively at all levels;

Excellent organizational abilities;

Be accountable for their actions;

Operate with integrity;

Understand the customer's view;

A continuous improvement mindset by challenging the status quo and embraces change;

Safety as a priority.

In addition, prior experience with the following would be an asset:

Familiar with shipping platforms such as UPS, FedEx, DHL;

Understanding of international shipping processes and protocols (air and container);

Experience using CERS and completing export documentation;

Experience with electronic document production including waybills, export documentation;

Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements and processes;

Forklift use
