Department of Financial and Administrative Services

(Contractual Position to July 25, 2025)

DUTIES

The successful applicant will perform accounting and related clerical work in the Department of Financial and Administrative Services. Duties include completing accounting tasks and accounting system processes, processing payments, including auditing procurement card reconciliations; auditing and processing travel expense claims and professional development and travel expense reimbursement (PDTER) claims; ensuring appropriate approval and verifying compliance with established purchasing procedures and policies; processing accounts payable invoices; preparing accounting entries; responding to enquiries; and performing other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (1-3 years) in accounting and related clerical work; completion of a three-year accounting program; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and in-depth knowledge of the Banner Finance Accounting System and Microsoft Office is required.

SALARY $49,308 - $57,841 per annum (CUPE Local 1615)
