About EfficiencyOne

EfficiencyOne is a leading energy efficiency enterprise. We transform the way people use energy and our core values are Integrity, Innovation, and Partnership. EfficiencyOne works with many outstanding partners to supply cost-effective energy efficiency and carbon mitigation services in Nova Scotia and beyond. Together, we help people achieve their energy goals, save money, conserve resources, improve well-being, and combat climate change.

Investing in energy efficiency comes with many benefits-lower heating bills, more comfortable spaces, new jobs in our communities, and a smaller overall carbon footprint. To date, our work has achieved over $4.8 billion in energy savings, including over $500 million for low-income homeowners and renters. Since 2011, Efficiency Nova Scotia programs have avoided the release of 10.3 megatonnes of greenhouse gas emissions (CO2 eq) in the province. If there's a better way to improve energy efficiency, we'll find it.

Employee Testimonial

It has been great to witness EfficiencyOne grow in many different ways since I started as a co-op student in 2017.

" There are always new and innovative programs, initiatives, and partnerships launching that provide more Nova Scotians with the benefits of energy efficiency and help in the fight against climate change. These new offerings - and the continued success of others - allow for many opportunities for personal and professional development too. The future is bright in this industry and I'm happy to be a part of it!".
