The Role

Reporting to the Technical Support manager, IT Field Services, the Technical Analyst will be involved in the implementation, administration, support, and documentation of a variety of infrastructure systems.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the day-to-day planning of Infrastructure team members.
  • Infrastructure installation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Regional service desk related tasks, as required.
  • Global infrastructure projects and support, as required.
  • Other tasks and projects as required by the position.
  • Own and modify appropriate system configuration settings; establish best practices and maintenance standards for assigned systems.
  • Identify and investigation of hardware and software issues, performing root cause analysis, and implement an action plan for the resolution and dissemination of conclusions.

All responsibilities to be completed in adherence to global company standards and best practices.

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience with network device installation.
  • Experience with VOIP and collaboration endpoints.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), including Intune.
  • Experience with Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless considered an asset.
  • Experience with MAC OS
  • Dependability with a great work ethic, demonstrated initiative, ownership of issues and an exceptional attitude.
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours, including on-call rotating Saturday shift as needed to fully support the business operations.
  • Ability to work independently and produce results, given general priorities, required.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, able to prioritize tasks and stay organized.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex systems issues, strongly preferred.
  • Must be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must be comfortable with ladders and boarding vessels
