Fortis Inc. (FTS/NYSE: FTS) has an exciting opportunity to join its team in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador as the Senior Internal Auditor. Reporting to the Director, Internal Audit, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the Internal Audit and Finance teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute audits of varying levels of complexity to ensure compliance with company policies and public company requirements;
• Communicate audit findings to stakeholders;
• Collaborate with finance and sustainability teams to establish robust controls for external sustainability reporting;
• Support enterprise risk management program activities;
• Reporting and oversight of the internal audit program across all subsidiary companies;
• Prepare reports for presentation to the Disclosure Committee; and
• Oversee execution of quality assurance program related to externally filed disclosure documents.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Highly analytical with an excellent understanding of accounting principles.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a concentration in Accounting;
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience working in internal or external audit; and
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation considered an asset.
