Join our Digital Customer Engagement and Journeys team as an Email Designer, where you'll create impactful, multi-channel, personalized customer journey assets, with a primary focus on the email channel. We're looking for a creative professional who excels in crafting channel-optimized, best-in-class campaigns.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

  • Email Campaign Design: Create engaging email marketing assets that resonate with customers, driven by research and engagement data.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work with Digital Customer Engagement and Journeys teammates to align email marketing strategies with overall campaign goals, presenting innovative recommendations and solutions.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure all designs adhere to brand and campaign values while respecting production guidelines.
  • Execution Management: Oversee the execution of email strategies, including template design, testing, and content development.
  • Email Strategy Expertise: Provide expert recommendations on a range of email approaches, including targeted promotions, newsletters, announcements, and transactional messages.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an internal consultant on best practices in email marketing strategies, advocating for excellence across teams.
  • Design Proficiency: Utilize knowledge in graphic design, interactive design, information architecture, typography, accessibility, and emerging technologies.
  • Independent Work Ethic: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with various marketing teams.
  • Project Management: Demonstrate strong project management skills, professional communication, and exceptional attention to detail.

What you have to offer:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in consumer-oriented email marketing using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar.
  • Education: Graphic Arts or Graphic Design/Desktop Publishing Certificate/Diploma is preferred.
  • Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Sketch.
  • Testing Platforms: Familiarity with Litmus or similar for email client testing.
  • Channel Expertise: Experience with direct-to-customer personalization (email, push, SMS, etc.).
  • Legal Compliance: Knowledge of email marketing legal requirements and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connector, data extensions, API integration, and hands-on data integration with Marketing Cloud.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred (Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist).
  • Web Development: Experience in front-end web development, including responsive design, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and various online marketing forms.
  • Marketing Automation: Experience with marketing automation and customer journey design.
  • Analytics: Experience with Google Analytics is preferred.
