The opportunity

We are seeking to fill an Internal Services Analyst position within our Pension Division. This opportunity reports to the Manager, Internal Services and works with the Service Associates within the team. The Internal Services Analyst manages the delivery of records, information management, and administrative services to the organization.

What you need to be successful

  • Post secondary diploma in records management, library and information science, archives or a similar discipline. Certification or willingness to pursue certification in a records management, information governance or other related industry accreditation.
  • Applicable certifications may include: AIIM Certified Information Professional (CIP), ARMA Information Governance Professional (IGP), the Institute of Certified Records Managers Records Analyst Certification or Records Manager Certification.
  • 4 years experience in records management, document control, information management, archives, or a similar role
  • Experience applying best practices and industry standards related to records and information management program such as Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) and International Standards Organization (ISO)
  • Knowledge of the Teachers' Pension Act, the Public Service Superannuation Act, the MRAA, Plan Regulations, PIPEDA, and the Income tax Act are an asset
  • Able to perform data clean up and/or records management program initiatives, cross reference file data/information
  • Competency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and the ability to create detailed Excel spreadsheets and communicate results
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve results
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently
  • Demonstrates initiative independent of supervision

Job Status: 12 - 14-month Term opportunity, Unionized (NSGEU)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 35-hour work week

Salary Range: $2081.93 - 2382.92 (bi-weekly)

Interview Dates: Panel interviews for those candidates selected to move forward will take place the week of July 22nd or 29th
