The Shaw Group is looking to add an energetic and customer service-oriented individual in the role of Temporary Administrative Assistant. This position is based out of our Lantz, NS Head Office. We are looking for someone who is reliable with a positive attitude and takes pride in what they do.
- Providing administrative support to all departmental members.
- Courteously receive and screen all in-bound calls, emails, and visitors.
- Coordinate office activities.
- Review, evaluate and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all employees, management, executives, customers and visitors at all times.
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
- Computer proficiency.
- Customer Service experience
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Embody a customer focused attitude and understand the importance of our internal and external customers.
- High School Graduate
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Business or Office Administration is an asset.
