The work location is flexible as the position can be based in any of our Petroservice branch locations: Saint John, NB, Bedford, NS, Winnipeg, MB, Saskatoon, SK or Edmonton, AB, the choice is yours!

The primary responsibilities of this role will include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Collaborating with the Sales Team and our Construction and Service businesses by providing administrative, estimating, technical, and operational support throughout the sales cycle from lead generation to order processing.
  • Interact with customers via phone, email, and other communication channels - addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers and maintaining order records.
  • Assist in preparing quotations, including estimating tasks, pricing and product information that are in alignment with company policies and guidelines.
  • Manage and track leads generated from various sources, ensuring a thorough follow-up and documentation of interactions.
  • Produce sales reports and maintain sales-related data to provide insights into sales performance and support estimating projects and decision-making processes.
  • Stay up to date with Petroservice product offerings and industry trends to effectively estimate projects, address customer queries, and promote product benefits.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to maintain customer records, monitor interactions, and facilitate effective sales processes.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Post secondary education such as a mechanical community college diploma or diploma with focus in construction, estimating, electrical, or similar would be considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: sales support, estimating, project support/management, customer service, or experience in a related role.
  • Knowledge of the petroleum/fueling industry or commercial construction industry would be a valuable asset.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy in data entry and order processing.
  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for providing exceptional service.
  • Ability to operate independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
