True North Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada's Best Managed Companies Program has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company's Quality Assurance Team based out of our facility located in our St. George, NB facility.

The Role

The Yield Technician position is an entry level position that requires a high degree of specialized expertise and skill in adhering to and promote all QA, Health and Safety and company policies. As a Yield Technician you must be able to exercise the necessary authority to assure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met and you will report to the Production Supervisor.

Specific responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (word, excel) would be an asset, but training will be provided;
  • Works well in a high demanding, deadline driven environment;
  • Respectful to other employees at all time;
  • Keeps calm and level headed at all times in all situation;
  • Excellent organization skills;
  • Respectful to the Company and it's mission and values
  • Basic mechanical and/or electrical background.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication and computer skills. You work well in a busy environment and manage conflicting priorities with ease. A keen eye for detail, you are a driven professional who demonstrates initiative and has the ability to contribute to a positive team oriented work environment.

A premium of $1.00 per hour applies to this position.
