OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a talented Training Instructional Designer (SAP S/4 Hana) to join our team. The Training Instructional Designer will play a pivotal role in designing and developing engaging, learning experiences to enhance organizational knowledge and drive growth. WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:
- Develop Display and Reporting guides based on existing templates, collaborating with instructional designers across all modules to integrate their display and reporting FIORI IDs.
- Transform instructor-led PowerPoint presentations into interactive eLearning modules using SAP Enable Now, incorporating quizzes, interactions, and voiceovers via Natural Reader.
- Complete assigned training documentation within the established timelines.
- Attend change, business, and functional meetings to gather knowledge and support training content development.
- Review process team deliverables to address training and process education requirements.
- Maintain instructional consistency in training documentation by adhering to SAP MP course development standards.
- Participate in train-the-trainer sessions and assist in preparing trainers for business resources and dry-run sessions.
- Support data loading activities for the training database.
- Provide status updates on course development to the Training Team Lead.
- Communicate project-related issues to the Training Team Lead.
- Leverage expertise in SAP Enable Now, S/4HANA, and FIORI.
- Potentially create courses and BPPs/simulations in SAP Enable Now.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:
- Minimum 5 years previous experience as a Training Instructional Designer on large scale ERP projects.
- Minimum of 2 years experience developing training material working with S/4 HANA & FIORI.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with SAP Enable Now.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with 1 or many of the following SAP modules - BM/CM/FICO/Procurement.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences.
DESIRABLE:
- eLearning, self-paced course development, audio and video recording experience an asset.
- Detail oriented experience in fast paced projects.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
- Self-starter, flexible, can adapt to constant change.
- Must be able to work as a team member and work independently.
- Prior experience working with Government/Public Sector SAP projects.
