JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the dermatology division head and the medical director in question, the dermatologist diagnoses and treats a wide range of integumentary system diseases. The dermatologist has specific skills in the medical care of inpatients and outpatients presenting dermatological pathologies.
The dermatologist manages patients with a wide variety of afflictions of varying complexity involving the skin, mucous membranes and skin appendages.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Recognized certification in dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada;
OR
- Degree from a recognized medical school and residency granting a licence in dermatology;
A recognized medical school is a school that meets the following criterion:
- Accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS) or the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) (in the United States)
OR
- Indicated in the World Directory of Medical Schools with a note for Canada.
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick;
- Active member of the Canadian Medical Protective Association or equivalent liability insurance association;
- Member of the New Brunswick Medical Society;
- Privileges with Vitalité Health Network;
- Registration with New Brunswick Medicare;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Experience (one to three years) will be considered an asset;
- Any other combination of relevant and equivalent training and experience may be taken into consideration;

NOTES:
- The salary for this position is fee-for-service.
- Moving expenses allowance.
