JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Senior Informal Conflict Resolution Practitioner, the Informal Conflict Resolution Practitioner is responsible for implementing best practices in conflict management and organizational climate. The incumbent works with the HR business partners as well as managers to ensure that the work climate is optimal and free of any form of harassment. The incumbent is responsible for evaluating Vitalité Health Network's culture and ensuring the organization acquires a win-win culture of collaboration. The incumbent analyzes the work climate in depth and makes recommendations to the Leadership Team, managers and HRBPs. The incumbent is responsible for progressively introducing collaborative approaches into Vitalité Health Network by providing the HRBPs and managers with training. In more complex conflict situations, the incumbent may act as a mediator, facilitator, or coach to the HRBPs and managers. The Informal Conflict Resolution Practitioner is responsible for the development of core conflict resolution skills by HRBPs and managers. The incumbent provides coaching and support to the HRBPs so they can equip their managers to manage conflict. The Informal Conflict Resolution Practitioner is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to prevent conflicts and psychological harassment in the workplace. In the course of their duties, the incumbent may be required to provide interventions in person or virtually depending on the conflict situations encountered. The incumbent must be able to travel within Vitalité Health Network's territory. The incumbent may be assigned various tasks based on operational needs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, law, human resources or other relevant field;
- Master's degree in education or a health care field would be an asset;
- Certification in conflict resolution from a recognized university, completed or in process
- Minimum of five years' experience in conflict resolution and mediation, preferably in a hospital setting;
- Minimum of two years' experience in the health care field;
- Minimum of five years' experience facilitating groups;
- Minimum of three years' experience delivering training, virtually and in person.

- Strong emotional self-control;

- Proficient in verbal and non-verbal communication techniques;
- Education skills;
- Strong group facilitation skills;

- Physically able to perform assigned duties;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
