Responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead, Marketing & Advertising, the Marketing Coordinator provides overall support to the Marketing and Communications department by organizing and executing the marketing needs of the College on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. This includes:

  • Support the development and execution of advertising campaigns for internal and external audiences.
  • Coordinate and manage the receipt of marketing and communications requests.
  • Coordinate the development of print, multimedia and other marketing materials for NBCC programs, special projects, events, departments and other key areas of the College.
  • Work collaboratively with the Social Content, and Strategic Communications teams on joint projects.
  • Assist with the production schedule of the Marketing and Strategic Communications department and ensure quality control is maintained and projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in gaining a better understanding of our various target audiences so that marketing can be better focused.
  • Help in budgeting and forecasting of the Marketing department, track key performance indicators, and evaluate analytics data to monitor the campaigns' effectiveness, ensuring established metrics and ROI are met.
  • Participate in the planning of strategies and priorities, including researching, analyzing needs, identifying trends, and defining objectives for specific programs and initiatives.
  • Present reports on results, expenditures, deliverables, campaign performance, and other information related to current and future projects.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Work with internal departments and third-party suppliers to ensure successful completion of initiatives.
  • Work with the Director and the Team Lead to ensure the needs of the business units are met.
  • Develop project timelines and workback schedules.
  • Track and report budgets, expenditures, deliverables, campaign performance, and other information related to current and future projects.
  • Be responsible for the tracking and payment of invoices in a timely fashion.
  • Other marketing tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in a related discipline (Marketing, Business, Communications) with relevant experience.
  • Experience with the coordination and oversight of marketing and communication materials across a variety of platforms and channels.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to align with the big picture.
  • Take initiative and have strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently, or collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Should have a valid New Brunswick driver's license.
  • Agency experience is considered an asset, but not required.
