Atlantic Lottery is looking for energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic post- secondary school students for summer employment (Must be 19 years of age or older at the start of the work term). The work term is typically 16 weeks in length. We currently have an opportunity within our Sales group for a Sales Support Representative summer student. As a Sales Support Representative in Halifax, NS, you will have the opportunity to support our team of Territory Managers on a wide range of functions on some or all of the following:
Merchandising: Visit retailer locations throughout NS, replacing outdated POS and any damaged merchandise.
Administrative: Log each sales call into INSIGHTS (CRM Sales Tool), update contact info. Provide an activity report to the Territory Manager, as well as a final summary to the NS Sales Lead at the end of your term.
Promotions: Visit retailer locations throughout NS replacing outdated POS; setting up in-store promotions and advising retailers of outdated stock.
Travel: To be able to follow the call cycle; travel is required with a possibility of over-night stays.
Perfect for those who like variety in their day. Some days you will be working from regional office and others days will be time in field with Territory Managers.
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Well‐established customer service skills.
- Drive and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Sales & Retail experience.
- Travel may be required - valid Canadian Driver's License.
- Access to vehicle for possible travel (KMs will be reimbursed).
- By May 1, 2024, must be 19 years of age or older (to apply).
Education Requirements (Program of Study):
- Post-secondary education in Business, Sales or Marketing
