Work Arrangement: In-Office, Remote-from-Home, or Hybrid (at least 2 days/week in office)
Atlantic Lottery (AL) is seeking a UX Designer. Location is flexible within Atlantic Canada with occasional travel to Moncton, NB.
The UX Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing and highly functional digital experiences that meet player needs and business goals. This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype user interfaces, ensuring a seamless and engaging user journey.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project goals and objectives.
- Develop user personas and customer journey maps to guide product development.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Create User Flows, Functional Specifications, and Style Guide.
- Ensure all designs are created with adherence to accessibility standards.
- Work closely with developers and UI designers during implementation to ensure design fidelity.
- Assist with usability testing and research to gather user feedback and iterate on designs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
- Maintain a central repository for design library and guidelines to ensure a consistent user experience.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Advocate for player-centered design principles throughout the organization.
Education and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in UX Design, marketing, business, or associated field.
- 5 years' experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your design projects.
- Must be 19 years of age or older to apply.
Professional Skills:
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma (preferred) and Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and design thinking.
- Knowledge of visual design skills, including color theory, typography, and layout.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
