Northside Community Guest Home is a reputable 144-bed long-term care facility nestled in the heart of North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Our establishment holds a prestigious license from the Department of Health and Wellness, ensuring our commitment to quality care and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized
• Follow dietary restrictions and guidelines provided by the residents' healthcare providers
• Assist with meal planning and inventory management
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree, High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in food service or dietary roles preferred
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work on-call and during weekends and holidays
