This is a Term employment opportunity to July 2024, with the possibility of extension, located at NBCC's Moncton campus.
As part of the Registration, Records and Scheduling Team, and reporting to the Head of Registration, Records & Scheduling, the Records Specialist is responsible for the pro-active coordination of all aspects of student registration and records to ensure students, staff, and faculty in the school of responsibility are informed, registration requirements are met and accurately documented, academic policy and processes are adhered to and academic records are accurately maintained.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Registration
- Student & School Advising Support
- Student Financials
- Grades/Graduation Audit/Certification
This position works collaboratively with staff and faculty in the assigned school and with staff and leaders across the Registrar's Office.
- Diploma or Degree in a related field, with related work experience.
- Demonstrated work experience with data entry and records management.
- Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and innovative thinking.
- Self-motivated, service and results oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
- A desire for continuous learning and growth.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated experience with an integrated student information system would be considered an asset.
- Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a post-secondary environment.

This position is a unionized position where the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NBUPPE - Administrative and Program Support Services collective agreement for the College.
