Reporting to the National Vendor Manager, the National Vendor Coordinator will work with the National Vendor Manager and the Corporate Services team to assist the Pharmacy, Clinic and Wholesale teams in the development and maintenance of strong relationships with vendors and successfully execute vendor management strategies across Canada. You will engage our external providers to meet our operational needs with timely, quality services and supplies at a reasonable cost. You will also help build and maintain strategic vendor relationships and act as a bridge between our external vendors and internal operations teams. Your data analysis and reporting will be critical to the fulfillment of this role.
How you will make an impact
- Operate as a liaison between external service providers and internal operations teams;
- Acquire, enter and track data from vendors and internal activities;
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, patterns or concerns;
- Research potential service providers and prepare related summaries and recommendations;
- Produce reporting to be used in the continuous improvement of our vendor relations and operational performance;
- Work closely with our internal teams on strategy and improvements as they relate to operational efficiencies.
What you'll bring to our team
- A passion for data, operations and reporting;
- Experience in Transportation or Courier industry would be considered an asset;
- Strong knowledge and experience with Excel with the ability and willingness to learn how to implement and use new software tools;
- Proven experience in professional communication both internally and externally;
- Ability to understand contractual agreements, familarity with good documentation practices and a history of accurate record keeping;
- Post secondary education in business would be considered an asset.
