Course Title: COMP 3343 - Data Communications and Computer Networks
Contract Term: August 15, 2023 - December 31, 2023 (Fall)
Course Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00 am - 12:20 pm

Course Description: Topics include theory and applications of data communications systems; language of data, coding for communications, transmission media, error control, channels, modems, communications system design, terminal selection and cost analysis. Prerequisite(s): COMP 2213 and MATH 2223 or MATH 2233 with a minimum grade of C-.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. University-level teaching an asset.
