Course Title: COMP 2853 - Handling Data - Concepts and Applications
Contract Term: August 15, 2023 - December 31, 2023 (Fall)
Course Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 pm - 5:20 pm

Course Description: This course provides hands-on experience in managing research data from when it is collected to the final report. Includes data collection, storage, data manipulation, data analysis, generating charts and graphs, effective methods of presenting information in both reports and presentations. Prerequisite(s): 3h COMP or equivalent word processing and spreadsheet experience.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. University-level teaching an asset.
