Course Title: EDUC 5063 FA01 - Inclusive Education and Social Justice
Contract Term: August 15, 2023 - December 31, 2023 (Fall)

Course Description: Foundational concepts embedded within the principles of equity, diversity, inclusion and decolonization are examines using the analytical tools of intersectionality, anti-racist education, ableism, gender, culture, and power.

Qualifications: The successful applicant must possess at minimum, a Master's degree in Education or a related graduate degree connected to Social Justice or Inclusive Education. Extensive teaching, research, or other relevant work is required. Lived experience of marginalized identities is recognized as important knowledge that is relevant to this position and is considered an asset. Experience with inclusive education in educational contexts is required. Preference will be given to those applicants who possess a PhD or who are engaged in a doctoral program in the fields of Social Justice or Inclusive Education or relevant related areas of study in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

NOTE: Candidates should be prepared to potentially teach this course using synchronous and asynchronous online and/or remote delivery platforms.
