This is a Term employment opportunity to June 2024, with the possibility of extension, located at NBCC's Saint John campus.
As part of the School of Information Technology and reporting to the Academic Chair, you will be responsible for the planning and preparation of instructional materials and resources; establishing and managing a positive learning environment; instructing and evaluating students; building and sustaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders; as well as other related duties.
Specific instructional areas and courses within the program may include but are not limited to:
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Client and Server Administration
- PowerShell
- Administering Microsoft 365
- Interpersonal Communication
The successful incumbent will be willing and able to integrate technology and active student learning techniques into teaching practices.
- Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related subject, with related work experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have a minimum of five (5) years of recent and related work experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with Windows Client Operating System, CompTIA A+, and Windows domain environments.
- Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and innovative thinking.
- Self-motivated, service and results oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
- A desire for continuous learning and growth.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure, ITIL, IT Business Systems, Microsoft 365 services, VMWare vSphere, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and/or Network Security would be considered an asset.
- Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a post-secondary environment.

Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be raised.

- A competitive salary range of $2,058.00 to $2,900.00 bi-weekly. Successful candidates may be eligible for a higher maximum step, up to $3,167.00 bi-weekly, based on their level of post-secondary education.
