We are currently seeking a Commercial Analyst to join our Trade Marketing Team at Moosehead Breweries. This role will be a remote position, under our remote work environment and will report to the Senior Trade & Partnerships Manager.

This role will be responsible for applying a data driven approach to evaluate our efforts and identify the opportunities of volume and revenue growth across the Canadian market.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend to cross functional teams what to maintain, improve or replace.
  • Provide analysis & recommendations on national pricing, LTO strategies.
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing Team on developing ROI Analysis on sponsorships and events.
  • Support Key Account Managers by isolating commercial opportunities with our retail customers.
  • Develop insights and recommendations from analysis and evaluation of merchandising strategies.
  • Provide Marketing support on strategic recommendations on product focus and promotional plans nationally.
  • Assist the Director of Marketing in championing the departments agenda to support the company with a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Ownership of Monthly Reporting Process to Moosehead's Partner Brands.
  • Work closely with Moosehead's Partner Brands, understanding trends and data in US markets - and reporting on trends and data in Canada.
Qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • University undergraduate degree or college certificate, business concentration
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in analytical role
  • Experience in Canadian Beverage Alcohol industry or in Consumer-Packaged Goods considered a strong asset.

  • Exceptional business acumen and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems for results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
